#11 Lake Travis advances to Texas 6A Division I final

Cade Green topped the century mark in receiving yards for the third straight game as #11 Lake Travis advanced to the Texas Class 6A Division I title game with a 63-21 over Atascocita in the state semifinals.  Lake Travis will play The Woodlands in next week’s state championship game.  The Woodlands, currently ranked #29 in the High School Football America Top 50, upset #4 Allen 36-28 in the other state semi.

Lake Travis, who will be playing for its sixth state championship, scored on its first four possessions to open a big lead.

The Wisconsin-bound Green had 30 catches for 532 yards and eight touchdowns during the regular season but in  the playoffs, the 6-foot, 190-pound Green has 21 catches for 448 yards and four touchdowns.
