After 24 day layoff, No. 5 St. Thomas Aquinas (FL) beats Stranahan (FL)

St. Thomas Aquinas’ defense didn’t show any rust Monday night in the Raiders 44-0 shutout of Stranahan.  STA (3-0), which hadn’t played a game in 24 days due to Hurricane Irma, held the Dragons to minus-31 yards of total offense.

St. Thomas Aquinas, No. 5 in the latest High School Football America Top 100, now has two shutouts this season and only allowed three points overall.  The Raiders will now travel to Arizona to take-on Centennial (5-0), which is ranked No. 4 in the latest High School Football America Arizona Top 10.

Stranahan is in the middle of playing three games in seven days due to the Hurricane.  The Dragons between Hallandale Friday and will play Dillard on Thursday.
