Aliquippa High (PA) names new head football coach

Mike Warfield, who was a star quarterback for Aliquippa High School in the 80’s, is the school’s new head football coach. Warfield, who was the QB coach at Central Valley for the past four years, replaces Mike Zmijanac, who wasn’t rehired after a highly successful stint with the Quips.

Zmijanac was 237-36 with one state championship in his 21 years at Aliquippa.
