In the nightcap of a tripleheader featuring state champs from Florida, Utah and Washington, Booker T. Washington needed overtime to extend its win streak to 41 straight with a 34-28 comeback win over Utah’s 5A champs.  It is the second time this season that Bingham has lost to a national Top 10 team. The Miners lost to #3 Bishop Gorman 23-20 at the start of the year.

The Deseret News reports that Bingham was led by running back Cameron Smith‘s three touchdowns.

The game marked the end of Bingham head coach Dave Peck‘s career. Peck is retiring after five Utah state championships.
