Bingham’s Peck resigns

Bingham High School Miners football helmetAfter 15 years as Bingham‘s head football coach, Dave Peck is stepping-down as head coach.

Peck, who last month led the Miners to their second straight Utah 5A championship and fifth overall, retires with an overall record of 154-37, according to the Deseret News, which also reports that Bingham assistant John Lambourne will take-over as the school’s new head coach.

Peck will coach the Miners on December 27th when they face nationally-ranked Booker T. Washington from Florida in the first-ever Burger King State Champions Bowl Series in Florida.
