The Canisius High School football team was honored by Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown Friday. Brown presented the team with its 2014 championship rings.

Canisius finished undefeated and won the inaugural New York State Catholic Association Championship.

Canisius was the top-ranked team in New York last season.
