Calvary Baptist two-time state champion quarterback Shea Patterson has chosen Ole Miss.  The 5-star, dual-threat QB made his announcement on Tuesday.

It’s the second time that Patterson has given a verbal commitment.  He originally said yes to Arizona over a year ago, but decommitted from the Wildcats last summer.

Patterson, who is considered the top senior-to-be in the state, is ranked #3 overall by Rivals.com and chose Mississippi over a long list of suitors including Auburn, LSU, Notre Dame, Texas A&M and others.

Patterson threw for 2,428 yards in 2014 with 38 TDs and three interceptions.  In two years as a starter, Patteson has only thrown seven interceptions in 422 pass attempts.
