CB West announces hiring of new head football coach

by Jeff Fisher

CB West Bucks footballCharles Cathers is the new head football coach at CB West.  Cathers has been an assistant at New Hope-Solebury and Hatboro-Horsham.

Last year, the football program was shutdown with two games to go in the regular season after a hazing scandal. Head coach Brian Hensel was let go as a result of incidents.

The Bucks, who finished 2-8 last year, have won 584 games all-time with four state championships. Three of those titles were under legendary head coach Mike Pettine, Sr., father of current Cleveland Browns head coach Mike Jr.

Below, you can listen to my interview with Mike Sr. from a year ago after his son became an NFL head coach.
