Win and play on, lose and go home. That’s the manta for every team still alive in the postseason. The week ahead in the High School Football America Southern California Top 25 features seven games with head-to-head match-ups within the rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm.

All four of the CIF Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinals are Top 25 games headed by No. 1 Mater Dei taking-on No. 10 Long Beach Poly; No. 2 Corona Centennial faces No. 13 Murrieta Valley; No. 3 St. John Bosco plays No. 10 Rancho Cucamonga; and No. 4 Mission Viejo squares-off with No. 9 Orange Lutheran.

The other three Top 25 match-ups are all in the CIF-SS Division 2 bracket — No. 12 Oaks Christian against No. 24 Edison, No. 17 Calabasas against No. 18 Heritage and No. 19 Valencia (Valencia) against No. 22 Norco.  Edison and Norco both re-enter the Top 25 after spending time in the regional rankings earlier this year.

The top-seed in Division 2 is No. 7 Upland.
