Greenwich Cardinals footballThe GreenwichTimes.com reports that Connecticut High School Coaches Association Hall of Famer Rich Albonizio has stepped-down at Greenwich High School.

Albonizio, who led the Cardinals to three Class LL titles in 17 years, won 170 games at GHS.  According to the story, Albonizio may have received some pressure to step-down.  From 1999-2007, Greenwich advanced to the Class LL championship game seven times.
