Desert Hills beat Pine View 28-27 Friday to capture Utah’s 3AA state football title.  Desert Hills came back from a 27-14 third quarter deficit.

The game came down to the final play (below) when quarterback Quinn Kiser hit Gavin Young with a shovel pass off a scramble as time expired.

Running back Nephi Sewell led the way with 243 yards rushing and two touchdowns.  It was quite a comeback for Sewell, who broke his neck on the opening play of the 2015 season.
