Two of the best football programs over the last decade in Texas could be naming new head coaches today.
Euless Trinity is expected to name its replacement for the retired Steve Lineweaver. The hire is expected to come from within, with the program’s offensive and defensive coordinators said to be at the top of the list.
The DeSoto school board meets tonight and could name Claude Mathis‘ replacement. 
Mathis left for an assistant coaching job at SMU.
Reports are that DeSoto’s new head coach could be offensive coordinator Todd Peterman.
Both teams finished in High School Football America’s Top 25 in 2014 and are expected to be in our Preseason Top 25 with top skill-position players back on offense.
