Fresh off its ninth overall Illinois high school football championship, East St. Louis finishes 2019 as the No. 1 team in the High School Football America Illinois Top 10. In addition, the Flyers are also currently ranked No. 55 in the nation in the High School Football America 100.

No. 2 Mount Carmel (Chicago) and No. 3 Lincoln-Way East are also ranked nationally. Mount Carmel, the state’s 7A champ, is currently No. 85 in the Top 100. 8A champ Lincoln-Way East is No. 105.
