Lubbock LAn injury-plagued Lubbock Westerners squad was no match for inner-city rival Estacado (3-2) Friday night.

Krista Pirtle of the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reports that the Matadors rushed for 529 yards in a 48-18 win over LHS. Leading the way for Estacado was quarterback Jaleen Tennison, who ran for 230 yards on just 11 carries and scored three touchdowns. Tennison also threw for 67 yards with a TD.

Lubbock falls to 0-5 and plays on the road at Borger (2-3) next Friday.
