The first in-season High School Football America Florida Top 25 finds Carol City soaring to No. 7 after its big win over two-time defending Class 5A champ American Heritage (Plantation), which snapped the Patriots’ 28-game win streak. The Chiefs, who jumped nine spots this week, enter our national rankings at No. 60.

The Game of the Week this week will be in Miami where No. 2 Miami Central and No. 12 Booker T. Washington square-off in their annual backyard brawl. The Rockets are ranked No. 12 in our national rankings, while the Tornadoes are No. 92.
