Fort Sumner High School in located in Fort Sumner, New Mexico, which is best known as the town where the famous outlaw Billy the Kid was shot and killed and is buried.

The football team is part of a cooperative with nearby House High School.  In 2015, the Foxes finished 8-4 and runner-up in Class 2A.
