Our prayers go out tonight to the family of Douglas County High School (Douglasville, Georgia) football player Zyrees Oliver who passed away Monday after being removed from life support.

Media reports state that the 17-year old Oliver collapsed at his home on Wednesday after drinking two gallons of water and two gallons of Gatorade after Tuesday’s practice. Oliver had reportedly been complaining of cramping because of dehydration.  After being declared brain dead, Oliver was removed from a ventilator.
