Hall of Famer Mike Singletary named head football coach at Texas Private School

Hall of Fame linebacker Mike Singletary is the new head football coach at Trinity Christian-Addison.  Singletary, who was the head coach of the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers from 2008 through 2010, played at Worthing High School before moving on to Baylor University and then the NFL’s Chicago Bears.

The Star-Telegram is reporting that Trinity Christian has played in 13 Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools state championships.

Singletary is a member of the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame.
