Helix, which finished runner-up in California’s Division I-A championship game to Folsom, is the No. 1 team in the final High School Football America San Diego Top 20 that is created with our proprietary algorithm.

Division 3-A state champ Steele Canyon moves-up one spot to finish No. 5 in our final 2017 rankings.

Division 4-A runner-up Southwest also moves a notch to finish No. 19.
