There’s a new No. 1 in the High School Football America Maryland Top 10 that is created with our proprietary algorithm.
St. Frances Academy moves to No. 1 after its impressive 28-0 shutout of former No. 3 McDonogh and former No. 1 DeMatha’s 26-20 loss to Gonzaga (Washington, DC). It was the fourth shutout of the year for SFA, which has only allowed 15 points this season.
DeMatha slips to No. 2 and has arch-rival Good Counsel, ranked No. 3 this week.
Mount St. Joseph makes its debut into the Top 10. In two weeks, the Gaels will test that ranking against McDonogh.
