High School Football America Ohio Top 25 – Week 4

Ohio Top 25

League play in the Greater Catholic League South Division begins this weekend, which will begin a tough three-week run for top-ranked St. Xavier, which is also ranked No. 9 in the latest High School Football America Top 100 national rankings.  On Friday, the Bombers will face Archbishop Moeller, which is ranked No. 11 in the latest High School Football America Ohio Top 25 that is created with our proprietary algorithm.

The Moeller game will be followed by match-ups with No. 18 Elder on September 29 and No. 4 La Salle on October 6.  After the league games, St. X will have big non-league games against nationally-ranked No. 2 St. Ignatius (No. 12 in the Top 100) and St. Xavier (Kentucky), currently ranked No. 78 in our Top 100.

Couple the Bombers tough schedule with a possible defense of their 2016 Division I state championship and St. X could be in the conversation for a possible “mythical” national championship.
