With only a handful of first round playoff games last week, there are no changes in the latest High School Football America San Diego Top 20 that is created with our proprietary algorithm.  However, there are plenty of exciting match-ups in this week’s quarterfinal round.

Mission Hills, which broke into the High School Football America Top 100 national rankings two weeks ago, is the top-seed in the Open Division and will face No. 16 Grossmont this week..

All eight teams in the Open Division are ranked in our San Diego Top 20. The other quarterfinal round match-ups are: No. 2 Helix against No. 8 Madison, No. 6 San Marcos hosting No. 7 St. Augustine and No. 4 La Costa Canyon battling No. 5 Torrey Pines.

In Division 1, No. 12 Carlsbad takes-on No. 13 Cathedral Catholic.
