A relatively calm week in the High School Football America Texas Top 25 with only two losses. No. 20 Marcus and No. 24 Smithson Valley both loss and dropped-out of the latest rankings created with our proprietary algorithm.  Taking their place are Longview at No. 22 and Highland Park at No. 23.  HP began the season in the High School Football America Top 100 national rankings at No. 35, but dropped-out after losing to Rockwall 53-49 in its season opener.

DeSoto, which moved-up to No. 5 in our national rankings on Sunday, squares-off with No. 13 Duncanville on Friday.  The winner will stand along atop the District 7-6A standings.  Duncanville is ranked No. 77 in our Top 100.
