The first round of the Illinois high school football playoffs wasn’t friendly to teams in the High School Football America Illinois Top 10 as three teams saw their seasons come to a close.  #3 Brother Rice, #5 Neuqua Valley and #10 Naperville North all lost last weekend.

Those losses opened the door Barrington and Glenbard West to return to the rankings at #6 and #9 respectively.  Both schools spent the early part of the season in our rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm.

New to the poll for the first time for the year is Fremd at #8.  The Vikings break into the Top 10 after knocking-off Brother Rice
