Justin Fields of Harrison (Georgia) impresses at The Opening 7 on 7’s

Harrison quarterback Justin Fields, who is considered the No. 1 dual threat QB in the nation, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings, led his team, Mach Speed, to The Opening’s 7 on 7 championship Monday.  Fields tossed four scoring passes in Mach Speed’s 31-15 win over Vapor Speed.

Fields performance throughout the event earned him Elite 11 MVP and The Opening’s overall MVP.

Earlier this year, Fields de-committed from his verbal to Penn State.

Jamaree Salyer of Pace Academy (Atlanta, GA) won the Offensive Lineman MVP, while IMG Academy’s (Bradenton, FL) Xavier Thomas won the Defensive Line MVP.
