Liberty continues to bulk-up is out-of-state schedule.  Last year’s Division I runner-up has announced that it will be playing Texas Class 6A Division I runner-up Westlake from Austin.  The Liberty-Westlake will be played September 2nd in Austin.

In addition to the Westlake game, the Patriots will also hit the road September 23rd to play California Open Division runner-up Corona Centennial.

Last year, Liberty, which finished #9 in the High School Football America Mountain Region Top 10, played two high school football teams from Hawaii.  The Patriots, who finished 11-2, lost their season opener to St. Louis 43-16 in Hawaii and then beat Mililani 76-53 the following week at home.

Liberty’s only other loss last year was to seven-time Nevada state champ Bishop Gorman in the state championship game.
