Mart wins Texas 2A Division I title beating defending champ Refugio

Defending Texas 2A Division I champ Refugio jumped-out to a quick 14-0 lead, but after that Mart took control with 28 unanswered points on the way to a 34-21 win at AT&T Stadium Wednesday night.  The championship is the sixth overall for Mart.

Running Shatydrick Bailey scored three touchdowns in the second quarter to win the game’s Offensive MVP award.

Mart finishes 15-1, while Refugio closes the season with a 13-2 record.
