As the unrest continues in Ferguson, Missouri over the tragic shooting death of Michael Brown, the McCluer South-Berkley High School (formerly Ferguson High School) continues to be closed.  As we all know, sometimes sports can bring communities together during tough times.  With that as the back-drop, the McCluer South-Berkley football coach went to school officials asking for permission to return to the practice field.

That request was granted earlier this week even though the team can’t practice at the high school that is closed.  Above you can watch a CBS This Morning story about the Bulldogs, who are hoping that their football game Saturday against Cleveland NJROTC will be played as scheduled.  Officials moved they game to an 11 AM start.

Last year, McCluer South-Berkley finished 10-2, advancing to the Missouri Class 3 state quarterfinals.
