Mississippi High School Football Championship Games leaving Jackson?

Mississippi is considering moving the state title games out of Jackson, the home of Jackson State.

WAPT-TV  reports state the Mississippi High School Activities Association may decide as later this week whether to move the high school championship games. A proposal currently on the table would have the title games rotate between Ole Miss, Mississippi Stat and Southern Miss.

The championship games bring a $2.7 million impact to the city of Jackson.
