The film, starring Jim Caviezel, Laura Dern and Michael Chiklis, looks at legendary De La Salle High School (Concord, CA) head football coach Bob Ladouceur (played Caviezel) during the school’s incredible 151-game win streak. The film is an adaptation of a 2003 book by the same name that was written by Neil Hayes.
Coach Lad, as he’s affectionately known, stepped-down at the end of the 2012 season with 399 victories. His lifetime record is 399-25-3.
