We hit the mid-point of the regular season this week. And, while twelve teams will enjoy their bye weeks, there are some big Top 25 match-ups this week.
On Thursday, No. 5 Chaminade, which is ranked No. 37 in our National Top 100, hosts No. 10 Serra (Gardena). The Eagles, whose only loss has been to No. 2 St. John Bosco, jumped-over Long Beach Poly from last week as the two flip-flop spots in our rankings that are created with our proprietary algorithm.

Also on Thursday, No. 11 Valencia will christen No. 12 Calabasas’ newly refurbished field. And, on Friday, No. 16 San Clemente will host No. 23 Edison in a rematch-up of their heart-stopping Division I-AA state semifinal last year that helped propel the Tritons to their state championship that they won a week later by beating Del Oro.
