This weekend marks the start of a big four week stretch for No. 2 Bergen Catholic as its faces four teams ranked in the latest High School Football America New Jersey High School Football Top 25. This week, the Crusaders face No. 3 St. Peter’s Prep, followed by games against Don Bosco Prep, Irvington and defending Non-Public Group 4 champ St. Joseph Regional (Montvale).
BC will only be playing its second game after having its game in Florida against St. Thomas Aquinas wiped-out by Hurricane Dorian. SPP is a perfect 2-0 without allowing a point in 2019.
Top-ranked SJR will test its No. 4 national ranking against No. 5 DePaul. The Green Knights are also working on a tough stretch. Next week, St. Joe’s plays national ranked St. Frances Academy (Maryland), followed by Paramus Catholic, Bergen Catholic (October 12) and Don Bosco Prep.
