New York high school football championships stay in Carrier Dome

Syracuse University’s Carrier Dome will remain the home of the New York high school football championships for the next three years. State officials made the announcement Friday that the Dome’s contract has been extended through the 2021 season.

The Dome has hosted the state championship games since their inception in 1988.

The NYSPHSAA also announced that Cicero-North Syracuse High School’s Bragman Stadium will be the site for the state football playoff semifinals in 2019 and 2021. The state semifinals will be played at Union-Endicott in 2020.
