No. 16 Mallard Creek beats No. 55 Hough in battle of North Carolina unbeatens

Mallard Creek, ranked No. 16 in the High School Football America 100 national rankings, used an impressive ground game to beat Hough 26-10 Friday night. The Mavericks rushed for 419 yards and only threw for three in the victory.

Mallard Creek now enters the postseason looking for its fourth Class 4AA state championship in the last six years.
