Three of the teams in the High School Football America Hawaii Top 5 won be shutouts this past weekend.

Top-ranked Kahuku opened the season with a 24-0 shutout of Leilehua (1-1).

Saint Louis also pitched a shutout with a 61-0 win over Baldwin, moving the defending Open Division champs to 2-0 on the season.

No. 3 Punahou was idle and won’t play its next game until August 25 against Torrey Pines from California.

No. 4 Kapolei improved to 2-0 with an impressive defensive showing in a 7-0 win over Waianae Saturday.  The Hurricanes held Waianae (0-2) to 66 yards of total offense.

No. 5 Mililani picked-up a forfeit victory over Kaiser.
