We’ve heard of wagers between the mayors of cities whose teams are playing for professional championships, but now two Ohio mayors are  placing a friendly wager on a high school football game.

According to the ChronicleOnline.com, Avon mayor Bryan Jensen has bet Avon Lake mayor Greg Zilka on the high school football game between their two communities.  The loser of the bet of the August 29th game between Avon and Avon Lake will wear the winner’s jersey the entire day of a council meeting.
