Pickerington Central remains No. 1 in the High School Football America Ohio Top 25. The defending Division I champs have Lancaster this week, followed by No. 21 Pickerington North next week and then No. 20 Reynoldsburg the following week.
Archbishop Moeller continues to climb in both the state and national rankings. The Crusaders are up to No. 7 this week after knocking-off former No. 7 La Salle 21-14. Moeller, which broke into our Top 100 at No. 99 this week, can wrap-up the Greater Catholic League South this week with a win over No. 9 Elder.
In the other GCLS game this week, No. 8 La Salle meets No. 22 St. Xavier, which is on a three game losing streak and a loss away from dropping out of the Top 25.
Other head-to-head matchups in the Ohio Top 25 are: No. 16 Springfield taking on No. 24 Northmont and No. 17 Euclid facing No. 24 Solon in the Greater Cleveland Conference. Both are undefeated in the conference, which also includes nationally-ranked Mentor, ranked No. 15 in the High School Football America 100 this week. Mentor plays Shaker Heights this week. Euclid, Mentor, Shaker Heights and Solon are at the top of the conference with 3-0 records.
No. 10 Massillon Washington has a big interstate game against East St. Louis, ranked No. 4 in the Illinois Top 10.
