Pleasant Valley tops St. Anthony 50-49 in OT for CIF Division 4-A title

Pleasant Valley captured the CIF Division 4-A state title in exciting fashion with a 50-49 overtime win over St. Anthony.  After St. Anthony (13-3) took a 49-42 lead on the first possession in OT, but Pleasant Valley cut the lead to 49-48 on their possession.  That’s when the PV decided to go for two and the win.  Viking quarterback Kyle Lindquist found wide receiver Sean Seibert wide open in the end zone to give Pleasant Valley the victory at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Long Beach.
