Winton Woods (Ohio) surprising 18-15 defeat of former No. 7 La Salle (Ohio) creates quite a bit of movement in the latest High School Football America Northeast Top 20 that is created with our proprietary algorithm.  La Salle drops out of the Top 20, while Winton Woods moves in at No. 19.

Also tossing the ranking this week is the inner-New Jersey battles that should continue to stir the pot throughout the season.

Bergen Catholic (New Jersey) climbs five spots to No. 8 after beating Paramus Catholic, which snapped a two-game losing streak for the Crusaders.  This week, BC will face No. 6 St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, New Jersey), which is coming-off its bye week.

PC drops to No. 12 with the loss to Bergen Catholic and this week the Paladins will meet No. 5 St. Peter’s Prep (New Jersey).

Archbishop Hoban (Ohio), whose only loss is to No. 2 St. Igantius (Ohio) in the season opener, moves-up three spots to No. 16.  The Knight also moved into the High School Football America Top 100 at No. 99 this week.
