st-peters-prep-njLater today the Hudson County Interscholastic League will meet later today to decide if St. Peter's Prep will be awarded a forfeit victory over National Division foe Kearny, which decided to cancel last Friday's game against the #4 team in the Star-Ledger state rankings.

The Star-Ledger reported Friday that Kearny (0-2) cancelled the game against the New Jersey powerhouse because of "a potential for injuries". The newspaper also pointed out that Kearny had been outscored 90-6 in its two loses. St. Peter's had won its first two games by a combined score of 108-31.

If St. Peter's is awarded a forfeit it would be the 200th of Rich Hansen's career.
