St. Johnsbury Academy wins Vermont Division I championship

For the first time since 1994, St. Johnsbury Academy can call itself Vermont state football champs.  SJA beat Hartford 33-32 Saturday night to win the state’s Division I champ.

St. Johnsbury Academy capped a perfect 11-0 season by stopping the defending state champs at their 7-yard line as time expired.

Hartford finishes 9-2 with both losses coming to SJA.
