Now that we’re a third of the way through the season, the High School Football America algorithm is starting to really separate the wheat from the chaff when it comes to our National Top 25.
One team graduated from The Other 25 to the Top 25 this week — former #35 South Pointe (South Carolina) jumps into the Top 25 after defeating former #10 Mallard Creek (North Carolina).
Booker T. Washington (Florida) now sits on the bubble at #26. This week, BTW will play nationally-ranked Miami Central. Another big game this week will be in Texas where #30 DeSoto will play #32 Cedar Hill.
We also welcome three new teams to the Top 50 this week — Elder (Ohio) at #37, Saguaro (Arizona) at #49 and St. Peter’s Prep (New Jersey) at #50.
Dropping-out are former #26 La Salle (Ohio), former #30 De La Salle (California) and former #44 Trinity Christian Academy (Florida). All suffered losses this past weekend.
