Nike's The Opening 2015Six players advanced to The Opening 2015 at Nike world headquarters in July from Saturday’s regional qualifier in New Orleans.

Leading the way was junior-to-be, Dylan Moses of University Lab School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who became the first underclassman this year to be invited to Beaverton, Oregon.  The Opening is generally a senior event, but Moses, who has already given his verbal commitment to LSU, is a special talent at both running back and linebacker.  He’s been considered a 5-star talent ever since his freshman year.

In fact, the recruiting world has had its eyes on Moses since he was called the best 8th grade football player in the country.  You can watch his middle school highlights below.

Also advancing from New Orleans — DB Kristian Fulton of Archbishop Rummel HS (Louisiana), DL Raekwon Davis of Meridian HS (Mississippi), DB Nigel Knott of Germantown HS (Mississippi), WR Stephen Sullivan of Donaldsonville HS (Louisiana) and DL Ed Oliver of Westfield HS (Texas).
