Tyler moves to the top of the 5A AP Texas High School Football Rankings – Week 2

Tyler LionsNot many changes in The Associated Press Texas High School Football Class 6A Rankings this week, but there is a new #1 in 5A where Tyler moves to the top spot after Aledo drops to #4 after losing to California’s Bishop Amat over the weekend.

There are five teams from Texas in the latest High School Football America Top 25 national rankings – #1 Allen, #5 DeSoto, #8 Cedar Hill, #11 Katy and #19 Southlake Carroll.

Here is The Associated Press high school poll, with first-place votes in parentheses, records, points based on 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, and the team’s ranking in last week’s poll:
