International Bowl helmets USA vs. CanadaWith only seven days of practice together, the under-19 Team USA came together to shutout Canada 35-0 in the International Bowl at UT-Arlington’s Maverick Stadium.

The Dallas Morning News reports the Red, White and Blue was led by MVP Prentice McKinney, an Oklahoma signee, who intercepted two passes, returning one 80 yards for a touchdown.  McKinney played his high school ball at South Oak Cliff HS in Texas.

The USA was coached by Allen (Texas) head coach Tom Westerberg, who has led the Eagles to three straight Texas state and High School Football America Top 25 titles.

Since the International Bowl began, USA now has beaten Canada four times in five games.
