Wise captures back-to-back Maryland 4A titles

The Wise defense didn’t get its ninth shutout of the season Friday night, but it did help the Pumas win their second straight Maryland 4A state title.  Wise beat Quince Orchard 42-7 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.  Quince Orchard entered the game averaging over 41 points a game.

Wise, ranked #6 in the latest High School Football America Maryland Top 10, finishes 14-0, while Quince Orchard finishes 12-2.
