#10 JSerra and #14 Santa Margarita pick-up wins in Trinity League tune-ups

With Trinity League play set to open on October 7th, JSerra and Santa Margarita picked-up wins Thursday night in their final non-league tune-ups.

JSerra, ranked #10 in the latest High School Football America Southern California Top 25, beat Los Alamitos 45-35 to improve to 4-1 on the season.  Junior QB Matt Robinson had a great night throwing and catching the ball. Robinson threw for 341 yards and four touchdowns, according to Dan Albano of OCVarsity.com.  Robinson also caught two touchdown passes on trick plays.

Santa Margarita, #14 in the latest SoCal Top 25, finished the non-league portion of its schedule with a 4-1 record after being King 44-14.  The Eagles jumped-out to a 30-0 halftime lead with junior running back Chad Magya scoring three touchdowns.
