It’s all postseason all the time from here on out.

The latest High School Football America Top 25 features twelve 2014 state champs that are trying to defend their gold medals.  Allen (Texas), American Heritage (Florida), Bishop Gorman (Nevada) and Maryville (Tennessee) are multiple title winners.

Top-ranked Allen begins its quest for a fourth straight Texas state title and fourth straight High School Football America “mythical” national title.  The Eagles bring a 53-game win streak into Friday’s opening round Class 6A Division I game against Byron Nelson HS.

Many are looking ahead to the state quarterfinals, which is where Allen could face #5 Euless Trinity.  The Trojans own three state championships with the last one coming in 2009.

In Nevada, Bishop Gorman is considered a lock to win the school’s seventh straight state title.  Friday night, the Gaels, who are ranked #2 in our National Top 25, will face Centennial.

#14 American Heritage from Plantation, Florida is seeking a three-peat in Class 5A.  The Patriots open the postseason Friday against Westwood.

#20 Maryville has won two straight Tennessee 6A crowns.  The Rebels, who will play Cookville in the 2nd round of the Class 6A playoffs Friday, have 15 titles, which is the most all-time in the Volunteer State.

Looking for back-to-back titles — #6 Colquitt County (Georgia), #8 St. Edward (Ohio), #9 De La Salle (California), #10 South Panola (Mississippi), #17 Clay-Chalkville (Alabama) #21 Chandler (Arizona), #22 St. Thomas Aquinas (Florida) and #25 La Salle (Ohio)
