Katy, ranked #13 in the High School Football America Top 25, rolled to its second straight victory Thursday night with a 55-0 win over Fort Bend Travis (0-2). The Tigers have outscored two opponents 86-0.
Katy was led by Rodney Anderson, who ran for 133 yards and three touchdowns, all in the first half. The Oklahoma-commit is averaging over eight yards a carry in the early going.
The victory was the 50th straight for Katy during the regular season. The last team to beat Katy outside of the playoffs was The Woodlands in 2009. Next week, Katy (2-0) and The Woodlands (1-1) square-off.
The all-time record for consecutive regular season victories in Texas is 78 by Galena Park North Shore.
