#16 Corona Centennial (California) perfect in first half against Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks)

Six first half possessions led to six Corona Centennial (3-1) touchdowns Friday night as the nationally-ranked Huskies took-down Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks 48-24 in a non-league game in Corona.  According to The Press Enterprise, junior quarterback Tanner McKee tossed three TD passes in his first seven attempts.

McKee finished 10-of-15 for 172 yards and he also ran for 49 yards and a score.  Husky running back Miles Reed rushed for 116 yards and three scores.

Next week, Corona Centennial, ranked #16 in the High School Football America National Top 25, will face Liberty from Nevada.  Liberty, which is ranked #24 nationally by our partner USA TODAY High School Sports, is currently ranked #3 in our latest Mountain Region Top 20.
